Anti-JKAP antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the JKAP antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the DUSP22 gene, which encodes dual specificity phosphatase 22. This protein is known to function in the regulation of cell migration and the regulation of transcription, among other biological roles. The human version of JKAP has a canonical amino acid length of 184 residues and a protein mass of 20.9 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. JKAP is a member of the Protein-tyrosine phosphatase protein family. ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry are common applications for JKAP antibodies.
