Anti-HEK6 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the HEK6 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the EPHB1 gene, which encodes EPH receptor B1. This protein is known to function in angiogenesis and axon guidance, among other biological roles. The human version of HEK6 has a canonical amino acid length of 984 residues and a protein mass of 109.9 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane of cells and notably expressed in the testis, nasopharynx, fallopian tube, cerebellum, and bronchus. Other names for this target antigen include ELK and EPHT2. Western Blot is the most common application for the HEK6 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
