Anti-hFip1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the hFip1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the FIP1L1 gene, which encodes factor interacting with PAPOLA and CPSF1. This protein is known to function in mRNA processing, among other biological roles. The human version of hFip1 has a canonical amino acid length of 594 residues and a protein mass of 66.5 kilodaltons, although 4 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. hFip1 is a member of the FIP1 protein family.
