Anti-GASP2 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target GASP2 is a known alias name of the protein WAP, follistatin/kazal, immunoglobulin, kunitz and netrin domain containing 1, encoded by the WFIKKN1 gene in humans. This 548-amino acid residue protein is a reported protease-inhibitor that contains multiple distinct protease inhibitor domains. The protein is secreted and features glycosylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in the pancreas, kidney, liver, placenta, and lung. Other synonyms for GASP2 include WAP, Kazal, immunoglobulin, Kunitz and NTR domain-containing protein 1 and GASP-2. Indicated applications for GASP2 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
