Anti-D2S448 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the D2S448 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the PXDN gene, which encodes peroxidasin. This protein is known to function in angiogenesis and cell adhesion, among other biological roles. The human version of D2S448 has a canonical amino acid length of 1479 residues and a protein mass of 165.3 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the ER, extracellular matrix, and is secreted of cells and notably expressed in the bronchus and fallopian tube. Other names for this target antigen include ASGD7 and COPOA. A number of D2S448 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
