Anti-CPAMD4 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target CPAMD4 is a known alias name of the protein complement C5, encoded by the C5 gene in humans. This 1676-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in receptor-mediated signaling pathways and chemotaxis, among other biological processes. The protein is secreted and features glycosylated post-translational modifications. Other synonyms for CPAMD4 include C5D, C5a, and C5b. Some CPAMD4 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. These antibodies are most commonly used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
