Anti-CIDE3 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the CIDE3 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the CIDEC gene, which encodes cell death inducing DFFA like effector c. This protein is known to function in the apoptotic pathway and the metabolism of lipids, among other biological roles. The human version of CIDE3 has a canonical amino acid length of 238 residues and a protein mass of 26.8 kilodaltons, although 4 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus and ER of cells. CIDE3 is a member of the CIDE protein family. Western Blot is the most common application for the CIDE3 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
