Anti-CT9 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target CT9 is a known alias name of the protein bromodomain testis associated, encoded by the BRDT gene in humans. This 947-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in chromatin remodeling and mRNA processing, among other biological processes. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to have testis-specific expression. Other synonyms for CT9 include BRD6 and SPGF21. Indicated applications for CT9 antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
