Anti-E5 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target E5 is a known alias name of the protein Rho guanine nucleotide exchange factor 15, encoded by the ARHGEF15 gene in humans. This 841-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in GTPase activation and GPCR signaling pathways, among other biological processes. It is localized to the cell projections of the cell and features ubiquitinated and phosphorylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in the vascular smooth muscle of coronary artery. Other synonyms for E5 include ARGEF15 and Ephexin5. Indicated applications for E5 antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
