Anti-DAMOX antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the DAMOX antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the DAO gene, which encodes D-amino acid oxidase. This protein is known to function in metabolic processes, among other biological roles. The human version of DAMOX has a canonical amino acid length of 347 residues and a protein mass of 39.5 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the peroxisomes of cells and notably expressed in the liver, kidney, and cerebellum. This target antigen may also be known as DAAO. Indicated applications for DAMOX antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
