Anti-DECR antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The DECR antigen is another term for the human protein 2,4-dienoyl-CoA reductase 1, encoded by the DECR1 gene. The protein is reported to be an auxiliary enzyme of beta-oxidation. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 335 residues and a mass of 36.1 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the mitochondria and it is widely expressed in many tissue types. The DECR protein is a member of the Short-chain dehydrogenases/reductases (SDR) protein family. Other alias names for DECR include NADPH and SDR18C1. Indicated applications for DECR antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
