Anti-CLA20 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target CLA20 is a known alias name of the protein adaptor related protein complex 3 subunit mu 2, encoded by the AP3M2 gene in humans. This 418-amino acid residue protein is known to be a part of the AP-3 complex, an adaptor-related complex which is not clathrin-associated. It is localized to the cytoplasmic vesicles, Golgi, and membrane of the cell. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types.
