Anti-BOPS antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the BOPS antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the ASXL1 gene, which encodes ASXL transcriptional regulator 1. This protein is known to function in organ morphogenesis and chromatin organization, among other biological roles. The human version of BOPS has a canonical amino acid length of 1541 residues and a protein mass of 165.4 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells. BOPS is a member of the Asx protein family.
