Anti-G-GAMMA-C antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target G-GAMMA-C is a known alias name of the protein G protein subunit gamma transducin 2, encoded by the GNGT2 gene in humans. This 69-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in GPCR signaling pathways, among other biological processes. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell. It is reported to be expressed in the retina. Other synonyms for G-GAMMA-C include G-GAMMA-8, G-GAMMA-8, and G-GAMMA-C.
