Anti-C4ST1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the C4ST1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the CHST11 gene, which encodes carbohydrate sulfotransferase 11. This protein is known to function in the apoptotic pathway and in utero embryonic development, among other biological roles. The human version of C4ST1 has a canonical amino acid length of 352 residues and a protein mass of 41.6 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the Golgi of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include C4ST, C4ST, and C4ST-1. Indicated applications for C4ST1 antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
