Anti-CORD3 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the CORD3 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the ABCA4 gene, which encodes ATP binding cassette subfamily A member 4. This protein is known to function in the metabolism of lipids and transmembrane transport, among other biological roles. The human version of CORD3 has a canonical amino acid length of 2273 residues and a protein mass of 255.9 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasmic vesicles, ER, and membrane of cells and notably expressed in the kidney and retina. Other names for this target antigen include ABC10, ABCR, and ARMD2. Indicated applications for CORD3 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
