Anti-CLM antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target CLM is a known alias name of the protein laminin subunit beta 1, encoded by the LAMB1 gene in humans. This 1786-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in cell adhesion and endodermal cell differentiation, among other biological processes. It is localized to the extracellular matrix and is secreted of the cell and features glycosylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types.
