Anti-Abh antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the Abh antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the ALKBH1 gene, which encodes alkB homolog 1, histone H2A dioxygenase. This protein is known to function in DNA repair and in utero embryonic development, among other biological roles. The human version of Abh has a canonical amino acid length of 389 residues and a protein mass of 43.8 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus and mitochondria of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. This target antigen may also be known as ABH1. Indicated applications for Abh antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
