Anti-DELTA antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target DELTA is a known alias name of the protein proteasome 20S subunit beta 6, encoded by the PSMB6 gene in humans. This 239-amino acid residue protein is a known component of the 20S core proteasome complex involved in the proteolytic degradation of most intracellular proteins. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types.
