Anti-5HT3R antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The 5HT3R antigen is another term for the human protein 5-hydroxytryptamine receptor 3A, encoded by the HTR3A gene. The protein is known to function in chemical synaptic transmission and signal transduction pathways, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 478 residues and a mass of 55.3 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane and it is reported to be expressed in cerebral cortex, amygdala, hippocampus, and testis.
