Anti-ALADH antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the ALADH antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the ALAD gene, which encodes aminolevulinate dehydratase. This protein is known to function in protein oligomerization, among other biological roles. The human version of ALADH has a canonical amino acid length of 330 residues and a protein mass of 36.3 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be notably expressed in many tissues, such as the adrenal gland and kidney. This target antigen may also be known as PBGS. Indicated applications for ALADH antibodies listed below include ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunohistochemistry.
