Anti-alphaPIX antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target alphaPIX is a known alias name of the protein Rac/Cdc42 guanine nucleotide exchange factor 6, encoded by the ARHGEF6 gene in humans. This 776-amino acid residue protein is known to act as a RAC1 guanine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF). It is localized to the cell projections of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types.
