Anti-ATX3 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The ATX3 antigen is another term for the human protein ataxin 3, encoded by the ATXN3 gene. The protein is known to be a deubiquitinating enzyme involved in protein homeostasis maintenance, transcription, cytoskeleton regulation, myogenesis and degradation of misfolded chaperone substrates. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 361 residues and a mass of 41.3 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and it is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. Other alias names for ATX3 include AT3 and JOS. Western Blot is the most common application for the ATX3 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
