Anti-UBE2G antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the UBE2G antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the UBE2G1 gene, which encodes ubiquitin conjugating enzyme E2 G1. This protein is known to function in protein ubiquitination, among other biological roles. The human version of UBE2G has a canonical amino acid length of 170 residues and a protein mass of 19.5 kilodaltons. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include E217K and UBC7. ELISA is the most common application for the UBE2G antibodies listed below. Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
