Anti-CT20 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target CT20 is a known alias name of the protein serine protease 50, encoded by the PRSS50 gene in humans. This 385-amino acid residue protein is suspected to be involved in proteolysis through its threonine endopeptidase activity. It is localized to the ER of the cell and features glycosylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to have testis-specific expression. The term TSP50 is another synonym for CT20. Indicated applications for CT20 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
