Anti-LST8 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target LST8 is a known alias name of the protein MTOR associated protein, LST8 homolog, encoded by the MLST8 gene in humans. This 326-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in the cellular response to hypoxia and cytoskeleton organization, among other biological processes. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is widely expressed across many tissues, with highest levels in skeletal muscle, heart and kidney. Western Blot is the most common application for the LST8 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
