Anti-NR3B3 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target NR3B3 is a known alias name of the protein estrogen related receptor gamma, encoded by the ESRRG gene in humans. This 458-amino acid residue protein is reported to be an orphan receptor that acts as transcription activator in the absence of bound ligand. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell and features sumoylated, acetylated and phosphorylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in the heart, kidney, brain, lung, bone marrow, adrenal gland, trachea, spinal cord and thyroid gland. Other synonyms for NR3B3 include ERR-gamma, ERR3, and ERRg. Western Blot is the most common application for the NR3B3 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
