Anti-CFC1B antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein cryptic, EGF-CFC family member 1B. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 223 amino acid residues and a mass of 24.6 kDa. It has been described to be a secreted protein. It is notably expressed in the pancreas, hippocampus, and cerebral cortex. It is a member of the EGF-CFC (Cripto-1/FRL1/Cryptic) protein family. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include cryptic family protein 1B. CFC1B gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse species. Western Blot is a widely used application for the CFC1B antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
