Anti-AAP antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The AAP antigen is another term for the human protein serpin family F member 2, encoded by the SERPINF2 gene. The protein is known to function in the regulation of cell differentiation, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 491 residues and a mass of 54.6 kilodaltons. It is a secreted protein and it is notably expressed by the liver and secreted in plasma. The AAP protein is a member of the Serpin protein family. Other alias names for AAP include A2AP and ALPHA-2-PI. ELISA is a widely used application for the AAP antibodies listed below. In addition, Western Blot is also a common application.
