Anti-CD316 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target CD316 is a known alias name of the protein immunoglobulin superfamily member 8, encoded by the IGSF8 gene in humans. This 613-amino acid residue protein is believed to play a key role in diverse functions ascribed to CD81 and CD9 such as oocytes fertilization or hepatitis C virus function. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell and features glycosylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in the brain, kidney, testis, liver and placenta with moderate expression in all other tissues. Indicated applications for CD316 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
