Anti-CstF-64T antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target CstF-64T is a known alias name of the protein cleavage stimulation factor subunit 2 tau variant, encoded by the CSTF2T gene in humans. This 616-amino acid residue protein is believed to play a significant role in AAUAAA-independent mRNA polyadenylation in germ cells. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. The term CF-1 64 kDa subunit tau is another synonym for CstF-64T.
