Anti-Chromobox 4 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene CBX4 in humans. The gene may also be known as NBP16, PC2, E3 SUMO-protein ligase CBX4, and NS5ATP1-binding protein 16. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 61.4 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
