Anti-CROP antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target CROP is a known alias name of the protein LUC7 like 3 pre-mRNA splicing factor, encoded by the LUC7L3 gene in humans. This 432-amino acid residue protein is known to bind cAMP regulatory element DNA sequence. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell and features phosphorylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is widely expressed across many tissue types. Other synonyms for CROP include CRA and CREAP-1. Indicated applications for CROP antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunohistochemistry.
