Anti-Grit antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the Grit antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the ARHGAP32 gene, which encodes Rho GTPase activating protein 32. This protein is known to function in GPCR signaling pathways, among other biological roles. The human version of Grit has a canonical amino acid length of 2087 residues and a protein mass of 230.5 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the ER, Golgi, and cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Grit is a member of the PX domain-containing GAP protein family.
