Anti-NS1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the NS1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the PTPN11 gene, which encodes protein tyrosine phosphatase non-receptor type 11. This protein is known to function in neuronal development and Bergmann glial cell differentiation, among other biological roles. The human version of NS1 has a canonical amino acid length of 593 residues and a protein mass of 68 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. NS1 is a member of the Protein-tyrosine phosphatase protein family. Western Blot is the most common application for the NS1 antibodies listed below. ELISA, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
