Anti-DAG kinase delta antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target DAG kinase delta is a known alias name of the protein diacylglycerol kinase delta, encoded by the DGKD gene in humans. This 1214-amino acid residue protein is reported to be a diacylglycerol kinase that converts diacylglycerol/DAG into phosphatidic acid/phosphatidate/PA and regulates the respective levels of these two bioactive lipids. It is localized to the cell membrane and cytoplasm of the cell and features phosphorylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types.
