Anti-ARL5 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target ARL5 is a known alias name of the protein ADP ribosylation factor like GTPase 5A, encoded by the ARL5A gene in humans. This 179-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in intracellular protein transport and vesicle-mediated transport, among other biological processes. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Other synonyms for ARL5 include ARFLP5 and ADP-ribosylation factor-like protein 5A.
