Anti-PAK7 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target PAK7 is a known alias name of the protein p21 (RAC1) activated kinase 5, encoded by the PAK5 gene in humans. This 719-amino acid residue protein is a serine/threonine protein kinase that plays a role in a variety of different signaling pathways including cytoskeleton regulation, cell migration, proliferation or cell survival. It is localized to the nucleus, mitochondria, and cytoplasm of the cell and features phosphorylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be highly expressed in the brain. Other synonyms for PAK7 include serine/threonine-protein kinase PAK 5 and p21 (RAC1) activated kinase 7. Western Blot is the most common application for the PAK7 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
