Anti-PTHR2 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the PTHR2 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the PTH2R gene, which encodes parathyroid hormone 2 receptor. This protein is known to function in receptor-mediated signaling pathways and GPCR signaling pathways, among other biological roles. The human version of PTHR2 has a canonical amino acid length of 550 residues and a protein mass of 62.2 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane of cells and notably expressed in the pancreas, kidney, colon, and cerebral cortex. PTHR2 is a member of the G-protein coupled receptor 2 protein family.
