Anti-QN1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the QN1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the CEP162 gene, which encodes centrosomal protein 162. This protein is known to function in cilium assembly, among other biological roles. The human version of QN1 has a canonical amino acid length of 1403 residues and a protein mass of 161.9 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. QN1 is a member of the CEP162 protein family.
