Anti-L2 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target L2 is a known alias name of the protein PPFIA binding protein 1, encoded by the PPFIBP1 gene in humans. This 1011-amino acid residue protein is believed to regulate the disassembly of focal adhesions. In terms of tissue expression, it is widely expressed across many tissue types.
