Anti-CNG1 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The CNG1 antigen is another term for the human protein cyclic nucleotide gated channel subunit alpha 1, encoded by the CNGA1 gene. The protein is a known subunit of the rod cyclic GMP-gated cation channel, which is involved in the final stage of the phototransduction pathway. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 686 residues and a mass of 79.1 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. The CNG1 protein is a member of the Cyclic nucleotide-gated cation channel (TC 1.A.1.5) protein family. Other alias names for CNG1 include CNCG, CNCG1, and CNG-1. Indicated applications for CNG1 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
