Anti-ABH2 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the ABH2 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the ALKBH2 gene, which encodes alkB homolog 2, alpha-ketoglutarate dependent dioxygenase. This protein is a reported dioxygenase that repairs alkylated nucleic acid bases by direct reversal oxidative dealkylation. The human version of ABH2 has a canonical amino acid length of 261 residues and a protein mass of 29.3 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. ABH2 is a member of the AlkB protein family. Indicated applications for ABH2 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
