Anti-ARL5C antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein ADP ribosylation factor like GTPase 5C. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 179 amino acid residues and a mass of 20.6 kDa. A member of the Arf protein family, ARL5C is known to bind and exchanges GTP and GDP. Synonyms for this target antigen include ADP-ribosylation factor-like 5C, ADP-ribosylation factor-like protein 12, and putative ADP-ribosylation factor-like protein 5C. ARL5C gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog and chimpanzee species. Western Blot is a widely used application for the ARL5C antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
