Anti-SEC24 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the SEC24 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the SEC24B gene, which encodes SEC24 homolog B, COPII coat complex component. This protein is known to function in Golgi transport and intracellular protein transport, among other biological roles. The human version of SEC24 has a canonical amino acid length of 1268 residues and a protein mass of 137.4 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the membrane, cytoplasmic vesicles, ER, and cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. SEC24 is a member of the SEC23/SEC24 protein family. Indicated applications for SEC24 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunoprecipitation.
