Anti-toll antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the toll antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the TLR4 gene, which encodes toll like receptor 4. This protein is known to function in the cellular response to lipopolysaccharides, among other biological roles. The human version of toll has a canonical amino acid length of 839 residues and a protein mass of 95.7 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane of cells and notably expressed in the spleen, lymph node, and bone marrow. Other names for this target antigen include ARMD10, ARMD10, and CD284. Western Blot is the most common application for the toll antibodies listed below. Flow Cytometry and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
