Anti-PRL-3 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The PRL-3 antigen is another term for the human protein protein tyrosine phosphatase 4A3, encoded by the PTP4A3 gene. The protein is known to function in the Notch signaling pathway and protein dephosphorylation, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 173 residues and a mass of 19.5 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane and it is reported to be mainly expressed in cardiomyocytes and skeletal muscle; also found in the pancreas. The PRL-3 protein is a member of the Protein-tyrosine phosphatase protein family.
