Anti-NMES1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target NMES1 is a known alias name of the protein chromosome 15 open reading frame 48, encoded by the C15orf48 gene in humans. This 83-amino acid residue protein is a member of the Complex I NDUFA4 subunit protein family. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is notably expressed in the stomach, placenta, small intestine and colon, as well as in normal mucosa of esophagus.
