Anti-GREB1L antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein GREB1 like retinoic acid receptor coactivator. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 1923 amino acid residues and a mass of 214.4 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is found to be widely expressed, with prominent expression in the cochlea. A member of the GREB1 protein family, GREB1L is known to play an important role in early metanephros and genital development. The GREB1L gene has been associated with the disease, Renal hypodysplasia/aplasia. Synonyms for this target antigen include growth regulation by estrogen in breast cancer 1 like, growth regulation by estrogen in breast cancer 1-like protein, growth regulation by estrogen in breast cancer-like, and GREB1-like protein. GREB1L gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Indicated applications for GREB1L antibodies listed below include Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
