Anti-3BP2 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target 3BP2 is a known alias name of the protein SH3 domain binding protein 2, encoded by the SH3BP2 gene in humans. This 561-amino acid residue protein is known to bind differentially to the SH3 domains of certain proteins of signal transduction pathways. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in a variety of tissues including lung, liver, skeletal muscle, kidney and pancreas. The term CRBM is another synonym for 3BP2.
